Supporting local food is so important. We can’t wait to host two of our beloved trucks, Blazing Food Chariot and Nic’s Shrimp House, again in April! They are also run by two amazing women who we wanted to celebrate for Women’s History Month 🎉
Nic started as a single mom cooking for friends, family, and private parties. She gained quite the following before deciding to start @nics_shrimp_house_, a cajun fusion shrimp truck. Their shrimp/steak nachos and shrimp sticks have become staples at First Friday for quite some time now 🍤
Sarah Bolden started Blazing Food Chariot in 2015 to bring a mix of southern and classical American food to the streets. Their favorite items include golden crusted deep-fried catfish and naked bone-in wings alongside specialty sauces.
